Transitions Program East Windsor Location

First Children’s  Transitions Program is a small group, center-based home instruction educational program for students with school refusal due to anxiety and/or depression.   Our Central Jersey school refusal Transitions Program serves students in grades 5-12

 

The Transitions Program in East Windsor offers:

The Transitions Program model was designed to meet the needs of New Jersey school districts… 

First Children is a New Jersey Department of Education Approved Clinic and Agency  for home instruction and counseling.  All Transitions Program teachers are NJ Department of Education certified and the program curriculum follows the NJ Student Learning Standards.  Students do not need a 504 or IEP to attend the program.  Transportation is the responsibility of the school district or parent.

 

Transitions Program  Counseling Services

Transitions Program counseling services are provided by our seasoned social workers who work closely with each student’s family and outside treatment provider to ensure continuity of care.  Counseling services include Mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, social skills, and family support.
