First Children Services brings learning to the students by offering online courses.

The First Children’s Virtual Academy allows students to take courses wherever they are without the restriction of specific time schedules. Students can take courses any time during the day or evening.

Why choose First Children’s Virtual Academy?

  • Individual virtual support-real time chat is available with certified teachers.
  • Convenient location-students can learn in their own home or on vacation.
  • Flexible scheduling-students can take courses any time during the day or evening.
  • Monitoring– we monitor each student’s progress to keep them on schedule.
  • In-person final option-we offer finals in two locations in our Cherry Hill and Fanwood locations.
  • Reading Assistance-courses contain a “listen” feature which allows instructions and content to be read to the student.

Virtual Summer Academy

First Children Services offers virtual summer school courses for middle and high school students who need to complete credits for the school year.

The Advantages of Online Summer School

Many of our students who are in need of summer credit or course recovery are already “online”, so we bring learning to the students. There are many advantages to a virtual summer school.  We have found that families work and cannot transport their students to our center or have planned family vacations during the scheduled course times.  Students may need a flexible schedule to accommodate summer activities and/or jobs.  Now students can take summer courses wherever they are, whenever they want with out the need for transportation!

School District Information

If your school would like to refer students to our Virtual Summer Academy, please contact us ahead of time!  Each student needs individual approval from his or her school for the course(s) for which he or she registers.  For your convenience, we gladly accept lists from schools ahead of time with each student’s approved courses. Alternatively, we will need to have each student’s registration signed by the principal or other authorized personnel.
