The NJ DOE permits approved private schools like FC to operate their programs in public school classrooms. Under this option students in out of district placements can return to their public school settings and districts save at least one third the cost of the typical out of district placement.  This option requires the public school to have available space and the willingness to work in close cooperation with FCS.  For a district that sends 20 or more children out to approved private schools, the savings represented by a satellite operating in their district is measured in the hundreds of thousands per year when you factor in the difference in tuition costs as well as the savings in transportation expenses.
