On November 1, 2022, Mary O’Dowd a teacher from Galway, Ireland visited First Children School. She was visiting her son here in NJ and came across our school through an internet search.
Principal, Kathy Gorksi was thrilled to have her come and see all the services and accommodations we make for the students we support. Ireland’s educational system for the disabled is a bit different and we enjoyed sharing ideas and thoughts on students, curriculum and related services. “I hope to keep this relationship strong and maybe one day I will get to see her school!”
